Gundam Unicorn UK Release?

Anyone know whether/when Gundam Unicorn comes to the UK? And will there be other versions than just Blu-Ray?

I apologise if this is a duplicate.

It's already here in the UK available only at the Beez Shop. 'Tis quite dear as well. We only have it as a Blu-Ray for now, I've not heard anything about a DVD release.

Andrew has advised that there are no plans for a full UK release, however Beez made it available in their web shop to UK customers so we can buy it without worrying about customs etc. They also brought some copies to the last London Expo which were very reasonably priced.

Hopefully volume 2 will pop up on their store soon.

£2 a minute.

The whole thing has been a utter farce really. And I feel sorry for anyone buying this volume or the next. This level of ridiculous decision making requires a special level of executive power. The kind that pulls the plug due to "disappointing performance" two fifths of the way through release.

Even if we didn't have a Beez rep around these parts, it would be clear that this unrealistic world-view has nothing to do with them of course. They do fantastic work. Sorry to be unpatriotic, but sometimes it really is for the best when UK releases take their time. A full five volume release in Summer 2012 is the only way this is ever going to happen, even if I'm sceptical it will ever work. Six months between episodes isn't such a brilliant way to experience a story anyway.

This summarizes the point that may or have not been made by us already about it in back channels.

I'm disappointed for you guys and am incredibly sorry for fans of MS Gundam that this is the situation. It is an unrealistic view of the EU market and we have already tried to make this point citing your views. We will have to see how things develop from here though.

All comments greatly welcomed but sufficed to say I feel all of your pain on this one!

Andrew
