Gundam movies (original)

Hello!

I want to pick up the original Gundam movies. Since the pound is messed up at the moment and the UK companies are making an effort these days I'm thinking of passing over the default choice of the R1 set and buying R2UK. Is there anything I should know about it from people who already have it? I can't much information about it online or at retail sites and have never seen it in person.

Is it just the first three compiled movies, and is it properly subbed with no known problems? That's all I need to know :)

Yep its just the first three movies, a mixture of new animation and parts cut from the original series. I've not noticed any subbing problems from mine like but then again its been a while since i've sat down and actually watched them.

but there was no glaring problems, hope this helps somewhat :)
 
There is no dub, so any errors won't be due to the usual 'dubtitle' shenanigans. I wouldn't be surprised if the Beez release is identical to the US release (with additional European subbed languages.)
