Since I got the NIS set of this series 5 or 6 years ago I've watched it at least twice. What gets me is how quirky the characters are and how out of the ordinary the storyline is. I'd hesitate to call it "slice of life", more like "let's see what we can make out of life". All the characters work off each other's eccentricities
to the benefit of the overall plot. All in all I'd give it 8 out of a possible 10 points-highly recommended.
