the transformer tunes arent bad... tho a little cheesy for my liking

and the labyrinth tunes arent really my thing.

can we exclude musicals from this topic? otherwise i cud i go on for hours! mostly Disney movies lol

Haha, I made a massively epic post featuring all my favourite Disney songs only for me to get disconnected and lose the post... At least I got an hour or so out of listening to Belle and I Just Can't Wait To Be King.

I'll pick something a little different... Individual songs which fit very well with films can be brilliant, but for me the greatest movie soundtrack is Philip Glass' amazing score for Koyaanisqatsi. The music just seems so evocative of what you're watching. The pictures wouldn't be half as impressive without the music, nor would the music be without the imagery.

Since watching the film before Christmas, I've seen the music for the "Pruitt-Igoe" segment used in three other locations (BBC News special, Grand Theft Auto 4, Watchmen Trailer), but no other use of it lives up to what it was originally intended for.

I love this film!^_^although it actually scared me to death as a child!,but that was mostly down to David Bowie being able to turn into an owl and come in through your window0_o.
