Ghibli Collection and Dubtitles

Short and simple question - Do the R2 Ghibli collection DVD's contain only dubtitles?

I have the 1 disc version of Spirited Away. Gonna eventually pick up Princess Mononoke and Nausicaa.

No you just picked up the wrong copy of spirited away . The newer 2 disc release is properly subtitled and as far as I know the others arn't dubtitled. The R2 Princess Mononoke has both Sub and Dubtitles on the disc, i'm not sure if thats what they're all like but as far as I know there not.

Eh? The 1 disc version seems to be newer; most sites show it as only released at the start of this year on the DVD information.

It says differently on wikipedia, but maybe I rely to wikipedia a little too much . But I know that the subtitles on the 2 disc version *which I own* arn't dubtitles. Since Akira I always check the subtitles againsed the dub to make sure.

The old Buena Vista DVDs of Mononoke, Kiki and Laputa were dubtitled.

The newer releases done by Optimum are all fine as far as I'm aware.
