The recent discussion here about sakura cardcaptors, made me wonder which Geneon titles are worth getting and what would be the price for those that I wanted. So I set up the list of all titles they had and I'm going to do a little search for prices on the ones I'm interested. I don't mind keeping tabs on the rest as well, so the main idea is to list all titles and but prices and a link to them here.

Some of these might still get an UK release, but sadly, some of them may never see the light of day. I've got this list from wiki and TBH, it surprised me to see they had so much titles I wanted...

Is this only for the R1 DVDs? as a lot on that list has already seen an R2 DVD release over here and some is coming out, namely the starship operators

It's funny that you've listed NieA_7 here, because I was halfway through it when Geneon folded. I'm now actually quite worried as to whether I'll be able to finish it... :?

Quite a few of their more recent (relatively) releases are being resurrected through Funimation or are still around over here but of the remainder I strongly recommend Gankutsuou and Dokkoida as purchases if you get the chance.

Gankutsuou is a classic. Quirky but enjoyable art/animation paired up with a well known story (The Count of Monte Cristo by Dumas); the way it's told sucks you right in slowly until you're reeling. I really cared about what those characters were going through and changed my opinion on who was right several times as the series progressed. Because of the experimental animation and lack of fanservice it's not done as well in the West as it should have. I'd love to be wrong, but this one probably won't be coming back into general US release for a while at best.

Dokkoida isn't going to be a classic but I found it a surprisingly lovely light hearted super hero/sentai influenced parody with some great music and wacky fanservice of all kinds. It's not popular and probably flew under a lot of radars so I would be surprised to see it rescued by another company in the near future. Well worth a look into if you can.

@ Black - I'm still working on the list, just realized it would be nice to add all of them here. Some of them are still available in the UK, some will never be. Starship is coming out, I don't think Battle vixens will be OOP anytime soon as well, but for titles with a smaller following, it might prove difficult expensive to get...

Its okay i was just wondering that's all since i saw Tsukihime on that list. Still it would be nice if more from that list made its way over here...(and i'm still hoping that Funi release Fate Stay Night over here)

The below, from your want list have or are being released by MVM in the UK so they should be easy to pick up.

Out of those Black Lagoon and Shakugan no Shana will be re-distributed via the deal with FUNimation.

As for Sailor Moon, Geneon only had the movies, Sailor Moon S and Sailor Moon SuperS (series 3 & 4). They lost those rights long before ceasing their distribution arm.

Fate is another awesome one. I've seen a few clips and I really want to see it.
