A viewer called Gavin Risden has wrote what he would like to see made into an anime.

I think he has some good ideas except he is a bit behind - Devil May Cry - Already done

Ah I've read that. He is a bit behind on the DMC anime, but he actually have some awesome ideas.

The director of GITS:SAC actually directing a Metal Gear Solid anime... That will be heaven =D

Mind you, LOZ anime is the worst one so far.

Nice idea, I'm not mad about game adaptions, though anime has fared a little better than Holywood in that regard. Utawaremono was meant to be based off a game and I heard Gungrave was decent as well. It can be done if the right people are involved anyway.

Games to anime, could really boost the numbers of anime fans in my opinion.

Quick Look round my game collection, Silent Hill if done properly would work very spooky animé, as could Bioshock . Beyond Good & Evil and Jade Empire are half way there already, and would love t see something like Max Payne done in a black and white animé (a la Detectives Story from Animatrix). Will think again when sober

I sort of find this funny as so many anime are already made based on games, albeit mostly Japanese games that have never made it to the west. So what we are really talking about here is games popular in the west that have not had anime made based on them yet.

hmmmm.... I agree that Max Payne could work quite well - I think Shenmue would be a good one to base an anime on but probably loss of some characters, and more in depth view into other characters (such as Nozomi). Maybe Project Zero for a horror type anime or maybe even Harvest Moon!

Gotta agree, Metal Gear Solid and Max Payne.

I think they could guarantee sales with those titles.

Lets hope someone picks them up and writes a good story/script for them.

What about Halo, we have not heard but about the film lately but if it did well I am sure some one would want do an animated series and what would be better for that than anime.

I'm sure that some games could translate well to anime, i mean as long as they don't turn out like the Panzer Dragoon or Darkstalker's anime that they brought out a long, long time ago (though if they re-did the panzer dragoon anime they could do something really good with it). i wish they did more with the devil may cry anime :(

I tried this, but teletext won't go to the number 807 for me.
Page 805-9 are only if you're on freeview/digital. (on channel 100) If you've got a regular TV then it's a different number, somewhere in the 500s if memory serves.

If you have got digital already the I don't know!

As much as i love Halo i'd greatly dislike an anime to be made.
It's western through and through and the game i'm sure wasn't too popular over there.
So gutted the live action has been cancelled (for the forseeable future) but i personally belive Halo and an animated series is something that should be heavily avoided.

I would love to see a Final Fantasy 8 anime set before, during and after the game. I really loved the game when i was younger and there is a lot than can be done in terms of a series. Yet i think FF fans would be a bit touchy over this. It's about time they left 7 to rest, let them rape another number title lol.
It's only 8 that i would be interested in though. I've had enough 7 (even though i do love it) and the only other FF i really liked was X (x-2 doesn't exist lol) and i don't think that would make the transition well.

Thinking about it if Halo was to get animated it would probably be best done like the Starship Trooper animated series or just full on CG like Final Fantasy.

Ahhhh now that might work pretty well, as long as it's made for a 15 (i'll settle at 12 no lower) plus audience
