Not sure if this has already been posted ,but I used search and couldn't see any so;

Looks pretty awesome for a teaser, cept for the strangely static hair. The chest of the robot kinda looks like the Enki to me.

Wow that looks great, not too sure on the idea, especially if they decide to go down the route of the americanised version (from that article it sounds like they are doing the original but you know the Americans. Would be nice if they could include some nods to the more recent anime update, Daiku Maryu Gaiking.

Now imagine if another of Go Nagi's mecha works were given a live action update...like Mazinger or Getta Robo

Sorry I don't know much about Mazinger esque mecha shows so that was a lotta noise to me, but I share your enthusiasm =D

Also, while it does seem americanised a bit the robot's design and the cockpit seem to have a distinctly japanese feel to me, so could be alright.
