Nikke wants you to be pulling basically everyone though and going for variety. I like the level system they have with the sync machine and allowing you to just level up 5 characters and those then being reflected on everyone else you add without needing to gear up everyone.
I've pulled 6 SSR characters in HSR so far, and I think in general you can probably clear basically everything today with 8-10 good ones that can fill a variety of weaknesses and rolls.
Having a couple of good sustains lets you run 1 per team in the end-game modes. I feel like I have this now with Aventurine and Lingsha so don't think I'd rush out to pull another sustain yet as I'm just power creeping myself.
Supports I only really have Sunday, and if I build her up some more I guess Bronya as well, but Sunday is just better Bronya.
After this it's variety of DPS really, Acheron is my main carry but she doesn't have a lot of good support options in my units, though I guess Sunday would still work here, and she seems to work pretty well with a Nihility squad of BS/Kafka. Probably what I want out of the new 3.0 units is a great summon DPS to pair with Sunday, and maybe eventually a good support unit on the remembrance path as well.
Once I have my teams and can clear things more easily I will be more inclined to let banners slip and pull on re-runs as I don't want to buy pulls. I don't think I'll need to gun for most light cones either, main reason I wanted Sunday one was because it was very good, and I also lacked the next best option (Bronya one).
Mostly interested in how Aglaea and The Herta look so saving up towards them as best I can.
