Funimation blu rays

I know I should probably ask this question of the funimation forums but has anyone on this site bought any of them. I want to know if the would work on a UK blu ray player, is there anyway to check

I've only bought the FMA: Movie, The Conqueror of Shamballa, which is unlocked to Region A and B, but apparently about half of Funimation's Blu's are locked, half aren't. You'll need to check them by title.

AxelMusic usually list which are locked and which aren't and I also used this site

RegionFreeMovies.com

The FUNimation Blu's I picked up which ARE region-free (A & B) are the following...

Dragonball Z Kai (ALL of them so far)
Yu Yu Hakusho (All of them so far)
Dragonball Z Movie Double Bill of Broly, the Lengendary Super Saiyan/Broly Returns.

and as the poster mentioned above me, the FMA Blu.

Now, I understand that most of Funi's other DBZ Blu-rays are locked to region A only. Aswell as a TON of their other anime titles.

This is a licensing issue I believe because all the Blu's which happen to be both A & B tend to be because they're licensed in Australia also (which is a region B country). Were it not for the Australia lincensing, we'd have no region B Blu's from FUNi at all (aside from the ones that get proper releases here in the UK).

Hope this helps somewhat.

I will probably get Yu Yu Hakusho blu rays, months ago I got the Trunks and Bardock bluray and it didn't work, thanks for the site now I know what to buy.

FUNi only include region B on their discs when they hold the rights in a relevant region (UK, Australia or South Africa) or are authoring discs with or on behalf of a company in one of those regions (as was the case with the first two volumes of FMA:B).

It is case-by-case.
