Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood Anime or Manga First?

With both recently finishing and I have only watched the First Anime created so far of Fullmetal Alchemist. Should I watch the new Anime Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood first or start reading the Manga?
 
People who like Brotherhood haven't read the manga. Read the manga first, Brotherhood appeals to the Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann fanbase, all action, no emotion.

What? Really, Lupus?

It's a case of which scene and how it's done. I do recommend starting off with the manga [though I've only read some parts of it]. For manga readers, they say some parts were done better in the anime and vice-versa, but otherwise, they are of equal quality.
 
Brotherhood misses a fair bit out of the manga, so i'd recommend going with the manga first, then watching brotherhood after. Oh, and Brotherhood is enjoyable none the less, it just doesn't really match up to the greatness of the manga.
 
I've read the manga and watched Brotherhood and I think it would be best to read the manga first. Don't know probably because it's just my personal preference...I guess I just love the artwork in the manga more.

Plus the gag manga at the end of each volume is so funny!
 
Can't speak for the manga as I haven't read it, but after a few initial hiccups I found Brotherhood to be one of the most compelling animes of this/last year. I dare say it’s considered sacrilege by some fans but thus far I’ve enjoyed BH a great deal more than the original series, something which is quite remarkable given how I wanted to hate it for the first 10-15 episodes.
 
Definitely the manga for me, I just hope the ending in Brotherhood is as good as it was in the manga! But the anime has been so good and, like Wildcard, I much prefer it over the original FMA anime. Romi Paku has done a great job as Edward's voice actor anyway
