I have the boxset of the entire first series and I absolutely adored it.I really liked the way in which it was like two completely different anime genres put into one. There was the fun 'slice of life' feeling to it where it was all comedy and school life, and then there was the serious mecha plot with blood and guns; both genres of which I like. It was a bit like Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu and Gun X Sword put into one anime and I just found it really clever how they made the atmosphere of the entire anime change when nearing the end.I really would like to purchase the collection of the second series too, although at the moment it is just too much pennys. I saw a trailer which just made me want to get it more, but I am quite restricted in terms of gil. But I assure you that I will, one day, have it in my posession.
