This was a triumph.
I'm making a note here: HUGE SUCCESS.
It's hard to overstate my satisfaction.
We've filled up with petrol
We won't even need to buy a can.
This is great for all of us.
Except the ones who have none

But there's no use crying over Camerons Mistake
People keep on queing while i'm eating my cake.
But the shortage gets worse.
Blame the people who bought first .
Are the people who are still in line.

I'm not even angry.
I'm being so sincere right now.
Even though i qued for 40 minutes.
For no bloody reason.
I just wanted to go buy some food.
Instead i'm sat in a line and now i've nothing to do!

Now these white van drivers make a beautiful line.
And 4 by 4 users.
Find the pavement works fine.
So I'm Glad. I got Fuel.
And don't need to be a fool
With the people who are still in line.

Forget the car now.
I think I prefer to stay inside.
Maybe we'll find someone else to save us.
Maybe New Labour?

Anyway, this fuel is great.
It only cost twice as much.

Haha i like it,

But... i filled up last week and feel that all this panic buying is rediculous, i was driving back up to luton yesterday from literally just outside london and every town i went through had ques backing up the whole street and in some cases round the corner too!

They are meant to give 7 days notice of a strike, no date has been set yet so basically the public have just fed the fat cats and by the time the actual strike happens.... nobody will have any fuel.

I'm not complaining though, i've still got 3/4 of a tank of petrol so im laughing for now.
 
Doesn't affect me in the sense that I don't drive (I walk to work).

An article on Metro online says there will be no strike over Easter. The article ends with the following stats,

This morning while watching the BBC news it said that petrol sales were up by 172% and that diesel sales were up by 77%. When I heard that I though the Government would be raking in the tax.
 
Luckily my car has been taxed and i received my new tax disk yesterday haha i'm laughing for the next year!

But your right... car tax will probably get hit by this too.

My local petrol station got a delivery last night, but they were closed this morning. Probably prioritising emergency service vehicles and company vehicles.

My neighbour summed it up: It's the end of the fiscal year, so they wanted more sales. How do we get sales? Make people panic buy.
 
Down to quarter of a tank now so i'm going to put another £30 in tonight but with journeys on tuesday and possibly wednesday night and 25miles today. Chances are that come friday when i'm driving across to oxfordshire i'll need to fill up again.

*sigh*
