Flyff (Fly For Fun)

After getting bored after 2 years of Guild Wars, this was one of many free mmorpgs I tried. While it held my interest more than most of them (i.e. a few hours) It was plagued by the usual free mmorpg problems - massive grind and a fixed control system with no choice of changing it.

Among the free mmorpgs however it is quite possibly the most frequently updated, which is a plus, though I had a little more fun with Perfect World. Generally however you get what you pay for in mmorpgs so if you pay penuts you get monkeys so to speak. I'm waiting for Age of Conan :p

Herd of it. My friend downloaded the Korean version, however, and his computer got gang-raped by a load of virus'. His computer was never the same again... and so it kinda put me off. It just sounds like a larger version of GaiaOnline.

Yeah i know what you mean. i realised my MacAfee protection had actually expired and when i downloaded the game it let in a few popups which told me i had trojans (*thought* erm sorry cheap pop up company but i know i dont lol) it was easily rectified when i went out and bought a new protection pack (norton) since i've had no problems,

as for your friend. depending on what problems he still has, they could be simply rectified (try running a anti-virus scan, and a disc clean up and defrag your harddrive [if you want i can PM you with how to do the disk clean up and defrag if you dont know how] failing that then it'll probably be found in the registry list on the computer)

i love playin Flyff, it does have good events and updates every week :) lastnight i managed to get lost flying on my board and ended up behind a mountain lol
