joint animation project of japan Studio 4°C and russian authors. Set during the opening days of World War II on the Eastern Front. Its main cast are a group of Soviet teenagers with extraordinary abilities; the teenagers have been drafted to form a special unit to fight the invading German army. They are opposed by a Schutzstaffel (SS) officer who is attempting to raise from the dead a supernatural army of crusaders from the 12th-century Order of the Sacred Cross and enlist them in the Nazi cause.

Sounds and looks very, very cool. Anyone know anything more about this show/film? Is it likey to ever be released in the West? I can't find anything on the forum and I'd be grateful for any info on it.

I remember this being brought up a while ago, and it was something I was interested in. We've always had Allied forces from Brittai and USA vs Nazis, but not much from the other side of the war.

I've no info on the release though, I dont think the western world has any licences on it yet.
