Escaflowne - Yakusoku Wa Iranai easilly tops my list of theme tunes.

I also love the Five Star Stories OVA ending theme, but it has proven impossible to find it on anything but youtube.

oh, and both the opening an ending themes of My Neighbour Totoro, english or japanese, are class as well.

Nearly all the Bleach themes are currently on a cd in my car and also on my MP3 player.

The Love Hina main theme is also on cd as it always makes me smile, it is also my alarm on my phone to wake up to in the morning.

I also have a few of the Naruto themes as well as the GIT: SAC series one (not sure if its series two as well as I haven't seen it yet) music on cd/mp3 player

One theme that has stuck in my head is FMA - Ready Steady Go by L'arc En Ciel. I don't know much about the band, and don't like what I've heard of any of their other stuff, but I love that song.

I love the GITS 2ND GIG Opening and Ending.

Opening and closing from Elfen Lied. Haunting, sweet and just realy good. Tenchi Ova 'Pioneer' Opening is disturbingly catchy, and the end song from El Hazard is just annoyingly infectius.

There are lots very good anime themes. However, these three hit me the first time I heard them:

• Invoke - The first opening theme for Gundam Seed
• Wind - The first closing theme for Naruto. That is so beautiful but also sad especially when combined with the visuals. It is almost worth buying the Naruto DVDs for that alone. (It makes hearing the theme used in the Jetix broadcast version even more painful than it already was.)
• White Reflection - I'm not sure if this actually qualifies as a theme but it did feature at the of the final two parts of Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz
