Evangelion volume 11

I just started reading this latest volume and so far, so good. SEELE are talking about the "black moon" and "white moon" which I vaguely understand from my time spent paging through Eva fan research. IIRC, the "black moon" or "white moon" were not mentioned in the Eva anime, so I guess you can call the manga more insightful. I should be finished the volume within the next hour :]

Any thoughts on these latest 6 chapters of Eva?

yes... i think theres one more volume to come but nothing hasnt been written in 2 years!!!!!!!

Volume 11 was essentially a re-telling of episode 24 and the initial JSSDF invasion of Nerv HQ. In that sense, I suppose it was disappointing that it didn't branch off into new territory. But it was nonetheless enjoyable and the "black moon" and "white moon" were mentioned, which was good as these are two key plot devices that are never even formally introduced in the anime, never mind explained. I do hope Sadamoto gives us an all new ending. I thought End of Eva's ending was amazing (indeed, it's my all-time favourite movie!) but I'd still like to see what Sadamoto can dream up :]

I believe that's when I stopped reading it... The release I was reading was actually half tankobon and they stopped when it entered into an hiatus.

Seriously, I think they are afraid to release an ending to that =)
