Eureka Seven

I just finished watching the final episode about thirty seconds ago. Man that was a good ending and a good series. I started watching it at 9AM yesterday morning until 9PM, so I’ve basically spent my entire day watching an anime series and I have to say it was worth it.

The series starts off quite slow I have to admit, nothing major happens until it gets about halfway which is when you really start to get glued to the screen. I also really like how you look back and realise that Renton’s really grown up, and I seriously mean grown up not just matured but at the start you can tell he’s just a kid yet at the end you can see he has become a man.

Eh... What as in, no deaths, depression or serious mind-fudging?

I was looking at getting this series, but was a bit worried it would end up like all the others I show interest in. :( I'll have to give this another look into now though. :D

Well I'm not going to spoil it for you, but all I'm going to say is that in my opinion the ending was satisfying unlike the ending in Full Metal Alchemist which didn't feel right. Eureka Seven only gets good after halfway through the series in my opinion, so it's not worth buying the series since half of the DVD's would bore me to death but the second half of the series really gets you gripped.

aye it was quite a good ending, and it's left open for any oav's/2nd series they might want to add.

have to say it's one of my fav series of all time

Well i am intreagued about this series. Just like FMA the story is very intreaguing, however i am rather worried that, just like FMA, the actual presentation is going to let it down. I hope not, but that is possible :(

Eureka seven is one of the series i have on my to-get list, but i haven't had the chance to do so, mainly because at the moment, christmas is about, but after that is all done, i am gonna get a hold of it, and hopefully from what i have heard it will be quite good.

Some of the characters are pretty cool, but others just don't develop too much through the series. People like Renton and Eureka really develop as the series goes and in fact it was nice to see Renton slowly maturing through the episodes.

Renton is just a Shinji Ikari clone. "Why are you doing this!?" "What's happening!?" "This sucks!" Still a good series though.

Oh God! I was about to order the first 2 discs for this series.

I've just had a whole weekend of Shinji whining. :? Please tell me, it's not Spike Spencer voicing Renton, I don't think I could handle that.

Nope, it's actually Johnny Yong Bosch, he's pretty awesome. Renton is a bit more... softly spoken, but Eureka Seven won't be a head messer like NGE and Renton isn't as questionable on things. XD

You're kidding? The Black Power Ranger? Hehe. :D

Renton's whiney in a comical kind of way but otherwise the two of them couldn't be more different! The first disc was a lot of fun though, and I'm looking forward to seeing how it pans out. It's high on my list of recommendations I'd give to Rapture the next time they ask fans what to air next.

I think it's a good series which will appeal to a lot of people. The series gave me the same feeling I had when I watched the Full Metal Alchemist series but the impact wasn't as strong, that's not to say this isn't a good series though.
