It was <a href="http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2007-09-21/uk's-hooray-for-fish-picture-book-made-into-anime">recently revealed on Anime News Network</a> that Engish author Lucy Cousins's childrens picture book "Hooray for Fish!" has been animated in Japan (by the relatively unknown WAO! World) and started airing on Japanese TV last Thursday morning (4th October).Of course, Cousins isn't the first person from the UK to see one of her stories transformed into anime; in 2004, British author Diana Wynne Jones saw her book Howl's Moving Castle animated by the world famous Studio Ghibli and go on to become one of the highest grossing Japanese movies of all time (earning upwards of $230 million).
