Ebay Question...

Hokum

Straw Hat Pirate
Anyone bought from a seller called "totalgamesandtoys" they have a few OST's i'm after but the prices seem, a touch too cheap. Otaku is quoting £26 which is out of my price range but these guys have the same one for £4... I'm warey about naff chinese coppies.

hmm...that seller sounds familar i bought two OSTs off ebay before, and i think it was from them, and although i didn't realise till a while later, both were bootleg, you can tell by the KO in the CD serial number. Although if you look around else where you can find better prices, for instance i got an now OOP Geneon Tsukihime 1 OST from play.com's play sellers for £15 and its legit.

Considering the number of soundtracks they have and the price of each, I'm 99% sure they're all bootlegs..

"Total Games: Don't just play it.. total it!"

Definitely fake. The complete lack of detailed product information and the frankly ridiculous pricing (some of those out of print CDs are box sets and even in Japan can't be found close to those prices) are very suspicious. I expect they're just CD-Rs with scanned covers, if they're not the usual dodgy imported knock off.

If you are desperate you can post what you're after and let the sales hunters on the forum keep an eye out for you ;)

Recently I've noticed that iTunes does have a few anime OST's listed. At least, I'm sure that's official.

He probably wants the disc n **** though. I know I would. 90% of the time you can find hte actual CD cheaper than the ****** download off'a iTunes which can only be registered to like, 4 PC's? I just prefer the CD. I can play it through the CD player, I can rip it onto my iTunes to play through the PC, and I can rip it as many times as I want. Much better :) :)

I agree, the physical media looks so nicer in my shelf than a file on my HD. It was just a remark. If I wanted some japanese CD really badly, I have friends who could ship it to me.

Have you checked if amazon.co.jp won't dispatch it here? Depending on what you want this 26 quid might a good price though, as CD's / DVD's in Japan are a bit pricey (ie. viva la vida from coldplay cost about 14 quid at amazon.co.jp)

If your willing to import just use CDJapan. It has like, everything.

If you guys can find the dvds on play.com or amazon, that will be good.
But as i know there seems to be few anime.
In fact i would like to buy some offical dvd, but i really don't where i can turn to. ebay is not a good choose i think.

He's asking about OST's. They're CD's, not DVD's.

(OST = Original Sound Track)
