Hello all,

Who else is playing this awesome game?

So far i've got upto about 30hours playing time.....and still have a LONG way to go.....mainly because each city has its own problems, the more that you complete within the game the more the storyline spirals and starting off as a dwarf taught me one thing......in the game, trust nobody...you earn respect by the things you do for others, rather than them being civil to start off with nearly everyone is a backstabber or unpleasant to talk to.

The story is well put together, with convo's spanning a good background to whats going on. At first the menu systems confused me, but learning the ways of the game is all part of the fun.

Visually i think its pretty good, i'm playing on a ps3 with HDMI and 32" LCD Flatscreen tv.....and i must say, i'm impressed :) backgrounds and the area's you explore are beautiful, the characters and their history is enjoyable to learn and each characters personality is funny to watch/witness. as at the start certain characters wil bicker amongst each other and occasionally it'll turn into a battle of wits.

The Battle system works well. easy to use and the upgrades are benefitial to completing tasks. Such as the skills to open locks, persuasive or intimidating methods of getting information out of people. a great deal of entertainment from this game and i hope that i don't complete it anytime soon. just so i can prolong the fun.

Est time to complete 100 hours (or so i'm told)

I've finished three of the 4 treaties so far, completed the character quest for Alistair and leliana, and am planning to work on Morrigans as soon as i can. It is a pretty darn good game, but its not as impressive graphically on the 360. I have 3 characters though, but only really far on my warrior. I've also completed the two sections of DLC, well, bar Shales character quest, so i've got a fair bit completed. Brother has completed it though, has it on the PC(which is even nicer), though i don't think he has wardens keep.

Ahh, beware when doing morrigans gremoir quest.....i had to retry a good hundred or so times...be prepared for 1 hit kills on your team members. All is not what it appears.

Have you fought a dragon yet?

I've completed red cliffs, the tower that holds the circle of Magi, and just started in the forests agains the dalish elves and the werewolfs.

Mind telling me what happens in alistairs quest at the end?

Yeah i've tried Morrigans before, never did i think she'd be that tough, heck the dragon you fight on your way to getting the Urn of Sacred Ashes Is easier to fight, but still tougher than that.
As for Alistairs, its rather underwhelming i guess but hey Basically, you meet up with his sister and she resents him no matter what you say, you have a bit you can say to him after you leave the house, but thats about all there is, visit the house and its complete after the convo

lol fair enough.....i tried to tackle Flemeths true form....didn't work, i just kept dying after 2 hits, the rest of my team lasted a single fireball before dying....in the end i just let her live and took the book and left....the robes you get are meant to suck the morrigan you know out and flemeth takes over......the only difference i've seen since changing her robes are that she doesn't want to joing my players tent anymore....i thought it was dead funny aswell :/

I have loads of quests still waiting....the urn i haven't even bothered with.

IGN's review did say the PC version was superior actually. Graphically less bugs apparently too.

Hah you say less bugs. I watched him play it since he started it and he quite obviously got a bug which stopped him from dying. He got through redcliffe and the mages tower without dying once, yet his allies always did.

I've emboldened the important part of what I said. Emphasis should be placed on "Graphically". If there are bugs on the PC game, it's pretty safe to say a patch will be released to solve the issue.

Any of you had the foursome yet? ;) There are two threesome options & a foursome option.

Loving the game so far. Killed 'that dragon' for Morrigan's quest using Alistair, Sten & Shale, & healing them lots with items. I was level 14 at the time.

WTF

I was lvl 9 and decided to give up and just admit defeat.
Mutsumi.....what % of the game have you completed? i'm at 30%

There's so many little quests for everything.....the different guilds....like the mage's, the humans quests and other things that you have to do....like an agency really.
Anyone gone to the pearl bar yet? ;)

Been there, finished the quests there, but not got the class speciality there(duelist i believe) yet, mainly cause i was a warrior with me dexterity fairly limited compared to what you need. I'm probably closer to 40-45% done, but i haven't been on it in a good while, no time really. May clock in an hour or 2 tonight.

Okay....i think i'll get an hour in before going to the gym....my game glitched...i was in the werewolf area when my game glitched me into a room with a cutscene of a ghost that turned evil on me and when i'd killed it, picked up an armourset that was 18.5 defence or something....then saved my game (onto a new save....incase it was a glitch) went towards the door and the next thing i know..the doors locked and the key to open te door is somewhere in the chamber i started off in before the glitch happened.

What classes have/will you guys choose to start the game?
I started as a Noble dwarf....was a good begining :thumb: im not sure if your being serious about the 4some mutsumi :p

Human Noble Warrior is what i am at present. Believe i'm about level 15-16 fully equipped with juggernaut armor. was fully equipped with Warden Armor(warden's keep DLC stuff) but thats on Alistair now i believe.
Also have a Dalish Elf(female) Rogue and a Human Mage. Still to make a dwarf yet, but its planned for next

You don't actually have to fight that dragon, its optional. You can go back and fight it when you wish. Thats my plan of action anyway.

Yeah i noticed it onlyy comes down when i mess with the gong.
dunno about you but whenever im stuck and all my characters have fallen except morrigan...i run around objects in a cirlce and whilst things are chasing me...i make abit of distance betwen us....freeze spell and wear em down :p

I'm going to go through the game...get the strongest armour possible and best weapons....then go back and slay all the dragons i can except flemeth....she's gone now :/

Right...its 10:22 sunday. An ive killed the ash dragon, destroyed all. And completed the game.....now to start another as a different class. In all it took me 58.30hours to complete.....definate value for money :)

Completeed it once as a female noble dwarf rouge, now going as a Male dwarf commoner. Have a few other characters as well male noble warrior human, male dalwish rouge elf (who is a complete bastard), and a few others.
Just out of curiosity dones anyone else think that the game has a greater emphasis on being a rogue than anything else?

Yeah i'd say so.

If your a rogue you can pick locks, outwit people to do your bidding and all sorts....there's loads of benefits.....except when it comes to a fight....personally i think the warrior class is much better, starting off as a human rogue in my second play through gave me a deep sense of loss....i can't beat people to death with a shield now :/
