Do DS WiFi USB Access Point really work?

I Currently have non-wireless internet and I am wondering If items like this: link actual work? If they do work, has anyone had experience with the cheaper third party sticks?

Don't fancy paying loads for item which I will only use occasionally for DS download content.

They do work. It's a bit fiddly to install, but they do work. No idea about third party stuff.

I've got a Wifi max, it works.. but as Jayme said, the are fiddly as hell to sort out.

Belkin wireless adapter: £5-£10
Wifi Max: £10-£15

Decide to get a WiFi USB adaptor in the end. It was under £5, so not much of a loss if it doesn't work.

Wifi USB adapter didn't work and was a bit of con. As even though it said in the item title it was for use with DS it was just a standard USB dongle.

Instead I brought a cheap Belkin Wireless router for £7.99. It was very easy to setup to work as Access point. It work out a lot cheaper than trying get an official USB Nintendo stick and I have now also got a spare router if I ever want to go with a fully wireless network.

Victini will soon be mine!
