My brother has just told me that someone on a forum (don't know where didn't ask) told him That Manga Entertainment are going to release this.

It might be a load of rubbish but I thought I'd share it anyway. Plus not sure if he was talking about US or UK.

I hope its true I would like to see what they would do with the dub, as I've said before I loved the original dub for the Devilman The Birth and Demon Bird, made me laugh so much and if it wasn't for this and Laputa I may not have even got into anime :D
 
The first two are a guilty pleasure, they were extremely good, further proving Go Nagai's genius, and Devilman is an awesome henshin hero, although, this OVA is pretty bad, there's also a drawing error at some point in the movie too.
 
I'd love to see all 3 OVAs out over here. The third one which you're talking about has never had a release over here and espite the BBFC being fairly chilled out these days, I still think it might struggle to make it out uncut.

I was wondering about that one as it's an old Geneon title. Guess I'll leave it now. Interested in checking out Demon Prince Enma one of these days though.

Oh I've seen Violence Jack uncut (French DVD) and it's extremely nasty stuff. It's better than the cut UK version as a really effective piece of horror - it's not an unwatchable mess after all! :lol:

Stay well away from Demon Lord Dante, it was lazy and I was expecting a Devilman violent anime and it wasn't at all.

Well that clears things up, I wondered how why it was called Violence Jack when it really wasn't really that violent.

Guess that will be the BBFC :x

Slumking's left virtually untouched as it's just a bad show. Evil Town has pixellated scenes (if you get my drift) which weren't there before and Hell's Wind has about 7 more minutes of ultraviolence in there. (chainsaw evisceration anyone? :eek:)

Devil Lady was cool, and New Cutey Honey had its moments too. 8)
 
Devilman Lady (Devil Lady is a lame name) is the best Go Nagai anime out there. Re: Cutey Honey is pretty cool.

Anyone seen Kekko Kamen?
