Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition

I was wondering if this game will be getting a release in the UK. I was going to buy the game as it looks awesome though then I heard of the SE and wondered wether I should wait.

i heard about the us release but there is no comfirmed uk release, which sucks but isnt uncommon. i have dmc 3 and its is pretty good. better than 2 which was a weak game.

all i know is that DMC3:SE is already out in the US and that you can play as Vergil in it...but that is as far as my knowledge of it goes at this moment.

the only differences are that you can play as vergil, dantes bro, theres a turbo mode which means playing the game at +20% speed, theres a very hard mode, and like in dmc 2 there is a bloody palace survival mode game.

I am hoping to get DMC3 SE aswell. I lent the game from my friend and completed it a number of times,*cough* on normal and easy *cough*.
It's brilliant and pretty fast paced, and yeah, alot better than DMC2. Playing as Vergil ain't the only reason to get the game, I want it just because it says special edition.
I like to have special edition games.

All the other SE games that have com eout recently, Fable and Ninja Gaiden, have been priced at £20. DMC 3 at the moment is £20 so I might aswell waight for the SE.

Its funny (well, it isn't, but its a "good" opening to what I'm about to write), but in the last two months two of the best so-called "Special Editions" for the PS2 have come out and have turned out to be two of my favourite games this year for the aforementioned format - this one and MGS3: Subsistence.

I found the added material in Devil May Cry 3: Special Edition to be quite excellent. Being able to play as Vergil was a great bonus.

lol

Its an ok game but after playing it I felt a little let down, something just seemed to be missing but I can't put my finger on what it is.

Just like to say I do love the option of being able to play Virgil with his huge samurai sword but Dante has cooler weapons in my opinion

Still, at least its not got what Devil May Cry 2 had. Now that would have been tragic! lol

Agreed now that was something that should have been swept under the preverbial rub (this is only an opinion and not an excuse to start a posting war people)

To be honest I haven't met anyone who actually thinks Devil May Cry 2 is anygood so I'd be quite interested to know if anyone does like the second instalment and for what reason/s?

Just out of curiosity see. :)

The only good thing about DMC2 was Lucrecia, she was fast, had some good attacks and a quite good devil form, Dante sucked bigtime though, far too slow.
