I know it's coming out on DVD & Blu-Ray soon, but i figured that this might be worth going for the social aspect.

Yeah, me too. I have zero intention of going though, i like to support the industry in the UK whenever i can, but i have to draw the line with moe stuff.

Got my tickets for Sword of the Stranger tonight. I'm going out for drinks with my girlfriend beforehand though so won't be there until 8.15.

I picked up the DVD on Saturday at Expo, hope it's good.

Regards,
K

I'll meet you there then? I'll keep one eye opened for a guy in running outfit ;)

I'll be by myself, 5'6" japanese guy on black suit.

Haha! We'll arrive around the same time then. By the way, do you think there will be any merchandise on sale tonight? Posters, DVD's etc?

Regards
K

Hey, Chaos,

It was kinda busy last night. I had a nervous look round for you in the foyer but didn't see ya. Sorry! :(

Did you enjoy the film? I thought it was great. Something of a 'videogame brought to life' due to the simplicity of the plot and the over the top action and violence, but enough time was spent on getting to know the characters so you cared what happened to them.

The first five minutes produced a classic 'what the hell IS this?' response from my girlfriend who's only ever seen Spirited Away. I don't think she enjoyed it.

Do you know if there is an OST available for this movie? I'm quite also interested in checking out Cowboy bebop now.

Regards
K
