ok so im like the biggest tekken fan like... ever. so i decided i was gettin rid of my 360 and games to get a ps3 just for tekken 6. so i sold them.

now, when i decided to do this it hadnt officially been announced what console it wud have been on but since for over like the last 14 years its always been a playstation exclusive i thought it wud be safe to assume the same for tekken 6...

WELL ITS ******* NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! its coming out on the 360!!!

RAGINNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!
 
I like the PS pad more for Tekken as well (traditional!). Though if you're an arcade stick guy that may be less comforting.

yeh i have already sorta comforted myself with the fact that i think now is probs the rite time to buy a ps3, whereas before it hadnt many games but yeh im calm now lol

NEVER buy a console for one game.

This is partly why I want a PS3. Playing Capcom vs SNK 2 feels so much more right on PS2. DOA4 is fun on the 360, but it would have benefitted more from a Dualshock layout.
 
yeh ur rite about doa4... its one of my fav games but i always thought the controls difficult to master and for some of the moves just down rite impossible... hayates Raijin comes to mind ¬_¬


can some1 help actually, im browsing the ps3 to make me feel better, but i cant find the one im looking... its a game about evolition, u evolve from like a 1 cell organism into like animals and stuff... any1 know what this game is?

Could it be fl0w? You swim around as a little organism and eat bigger ones' hearts and become a bigger, swirlier organism with nice graphics and music but no scores etc.

Personally, I'd prefer a PS3, but that's up to you ^^'...
Though I'm surprised Tekken's switching to 360 (Traitors). Still, atleast you can play some of the PS3 exclusive games like MGS4.

I think Namco-Bandai just want more money :p so Traitor is a bit of a harsh word...besides this isn't the first time a Tekken game has appeared on a non-sony console...remember Tekken Advance :p

I agree with the fact that the PS controller is better then 360 pad for fighting but they still pale in comparsion to the Sega Saturn pad as i thought that was the best for beat em ups :p i'm still kicking myself over the fact i didn't bother buying the PS2 pads which were made to resemble the SS pads...such nice presentation boxes as well
 
i knew some1 was gonna bring up tekken advance... but it really doesnt count, it wasnt a proper tekken game.

and if mgs4 is the best reason for a ps3, im ****** becus i dnt even like metalgear.... im not dissin, i just dnt like games like that.

but little big planet does look immense

oh and the game i was thinking of was spore, but its on the pc not ps3, and i cant stand pc gaming.
 
Lol @ everyone mentioning MGS4 like it made the PS3 or some ****. "Don't give up hope, my child! You can always get the only good exclusive on PS3, Metal Gear Four."

Also, Tekken 6? God damn, they should just give up, Tekken 3 was great, then it was the same **** over and over. Same with Soul Calibur but I only bought SC4 for the animu chicks.

But MGS and LBP are like the only good exclusives lol. He wont be on the new Gears of War then :p
 
Personally, I prefer the PS3 to the 360 also, so I don't think you made an entirely bad decision :p

Even if you don't like the kind of game that MGS4 is, I'd still recommend renting it or something because it really is amazing in almost every way. There's also stuff like LittleBigPlanet, Uncharted (with Uncharted 2 on the way), Siren, Heavy Rain, and WipEout plus lots of exctiing upcoming exclusives such as White Knight Story, God of War III and Killzone 2 (the original Killzone was admittedly pretty 'meh', but the sequel is shaping up nicely), so I'm sure you won't run out of things to play :]
 
God of War!? GOD OF F%$!ING WAR!? The game which depicts Ancient Greek Mythology in a way that only Americans understand!? Also, you missed out Heavenly Sword and Final Fantasy Versus XIII [Holyshit, how could you miss that out?]
