Custom ranks

Just a little idea which would be pretty easy to implerment, but how bout letting us have custom ranks, would stop people spamming to get to a certain rank and give us some more freedom (i'm prefer custom ranks over sig images anyday)

i know you can get a mod where we can add our own ranks, or even just simply start a thread where we can request them and an admin/mod can change it for us.

I don't know about this idea. I have seen it implemented on some forums and some people go over the top and request a change every few days, then the mods/admin get a bit pissed of and stop it. I have seen it on one forum where you can even set it yourself through the user profile screen, which is more suitable.

I would like it however, and I agree that I would prefer it over the sig images.
 
thats the main reason i suggest the mod, i know you can also add ban word lists to it so that no one goes over the top with it.

i only suggested the thread idea cause i have no idea how skilled paul is at modifying forums (no disrespect ment, i remember when i first used php forums i was afraid to even change the logo :D)
 
Just out of curiosity, what are the ranks after Kawaii Addict? That's as far as I can view in the stats, and I've seen a few people with other ranks, so I was wondering what came next and when.
 
Once upon a time, I had this feature working on the site but for whatever reason, it just stopped working and I had to disable it. Again, this will go back on my list :)
