Cinderella Boy & Musashi Gundoh

Has anybody seen this? It's created by Monkey Punch, the same guy who created Lupin the Third. On first glances it looks very similar to Lupin except if he decided to be a private detective instead of a thief with a slightly different haircut and sporting a white jacket. The animation and music looks to be to a reasonably high standard and it's 13 episodes long. That's... about all I know about it really so if anybody could give some thoughts on the series then that would be appreciated.

Musashi Gundoh is another Monkey Punch series I was going to check out but I've avoided because it has a horrible reputation. On Anime News Network 30 people voted it to be a masterpiece and 30 people voted it to be the Worst ever... Thoughts on that series would be welcome too. Should I continue to avoid?
 
I can't really comment much on the quality of either series, but Musashi Gundoh is infamous for having the worst animation since forever. The clips I've seen on YouTube make the bad parts of Naruto seem like Studio Ghibli, for example:

It's one of those that's so bad, it's almost good.
 
Wow... just, wow.

I'm not sure whats worse, the stiff way she spins round as she kicks, the missing arm or the fight looking like it was choreographed by William Shatner.
 
Holy moo. Well someone sure didn't do Monkey Punch any justice with that. That was some ugly animation with colour choices that make it look like it was done on the standard MS paint palette. I shall continue to avoid it like the plague I think.

Cinderella Boy seems to be looking better and better though. Looking forward to seeing that.
