There is a great deal of alcohol use in the series. Some people are uneasy with this, so I thought I'd throw it in.
 
He's Christian loves loli/hentai AND has the Master Chief as an avatar? Wut.

Also, needs more mentions of Berserk, that pretty much is the manga Bible.

As if most of the people on this site actually believe in God.

The guy had a picture of Link below his/her post. Link = Zelda = Goddesses (Emphasis on the "desses").

Uh oh, sounds like someone's just played the infamous Blasphemy card! Better get the Great SkyFairy down Pronto to take care of Hyrule and the two-timing followers.

Just had a look at this forum(not out of interest I can assure you!)and noticed that Deathnote is pretty popular,which is odd since for most of the book light plays God and it denies any possible afterlife :roll:

Just had a look at this forum(not out of interest I can assure you!)and noticed that Deathnote is pretty popular,which is odd since for most of the book light plays God and it denies any possible afterlife :roll:

Denies any afterlife for people who use a Death Note. Ryuk says something like "Know that if you use the Death Note you will go to neither Heaven nor Hell"

WHICH IMPLIES; Humans who dont use the Death Note can go to Heaven or Hell ;)

Looked at it and it's funny to read as a complete change form any other reviewer and review system I've seen. MOst of the general review parts are fairly normal (they even rated Rahxephon over Eva :D ). It's teh rest that is amusing. Sexual content, Bad religion rating. Now I was raised as Roman catholic and half of there issues weren't stuff we were told to be bothered about.

Actually, IDIOT! I can't recall the exact episode, but when Light has that conversation with Ryuk, or brings it up again. Light knows, and says that he has figured out there is no such thing as Heaven or Hell and Ryuk responds accordingly.

From a Facebook comment section said:
Ryuk: Don't think that any human who's used the death note can go to heaven or hell. You'll find out about that after you die.

Light: Can't go to heaven or hell... That's told me everything, Ryuk.

Ryuk: Huh? What?

Light: It just means that there is no heaven or hell, right?

This seems like a potentially explosive topic.. From what I've seen, a lot of anime uses ideas from christianity, but as for actually being Christian I dunno.

Stuff like Hellsing and Trinity blood use a lot of Christian references, but I doubt they actually sit too well with a Christian crowd. Seems more like a trend than anything.
 
I'm Catholic, technically. I'm not religious, though. I tend to be apart of the "Don't Care" category and I don't know any Christians, or Catholics for that matter who would get offended by any of this crap.
