I don't know if this is true or not, but if it is, its disgusting.

Police in Vietnam have arrested a 13-year-old boy accused of murdering and robbing an 81-year-old woman for money to play online games. However, because the boy is too young to go to jail, the Vietnamese officials sent him to an internet addiction recovery camp until he exhibits good behavior.

So it's true then...WoW turns kids into Monsters. I still remember the other kid who died for playing it 3 days straight or something like that.

As for the TV ad...it was screwed up. Shame Mr.T didn't say something like "WoW: Play It NOW fool!!!"

Never understood WoW its just doesn't look like one of those games were you can say "Hey See that Guy, He'll Be Picking his teeth outta the wall in a Minute", Or "Watch as I Now Ram the back of this gun down this guys throat" and feel like you achieved something very special

Also That kid needs more than just a Camp for what he has done

Never mind that, The whole MMORPG is beyond boring... Its like a chore.

I downloaded Tale of Pirates and Flyff... Got bored of them really quick.
 
Indeed - I played it for about 5 days and got insanely bored... I stay away from the whole MMORPG genre....Just watch South Park: "Make Love Not Warcraft" if you want a good laugh!
 
This proves that kids today are insanely stupid. Wow Has got to be the most pointless game ever. I played it for like a day and thought Wtf please tell me there more to this game than just killing things.

Can't say i'm suprised, I've never been into the whole MMORPG thing, first off i've never had a good enough internet connection to play these things (when i first joined up to broadband i was allowed half an hour of online gaming a week :lol: ) second because i just couldn't get into the whole thing even after my friends went on and on about it (one of them told me that he had been on it a total of 86 days :eek: ) third...because i couldn't afford it. Still things like this are terrible, no one should have to kill because of a game.

Well, I think that they don't deserve any sympathy. This is kinda pathetic really. Shows how much of a life some people DON'T have.
 
Wow is dangerous i read a few months ago about a chinesse couple who locked there kids in a cupboard because they kept getting in the way.
