Blue Gender

I watched a few episodes on SciFi back in 2002/3, when they showed anime and liked it then.

Now I am watching the whole series, up to episode 11 at the moment, and I loving it.

I watched up to 7 a while ago and never finished it, I have to admit it was really good, though I heard it isn't too great midway when they get to the space station.

It was great in the begining but as soon as the it got the to episode 20 It just whent don hill. The characters changed to much and that realy put m off watching it.

I watched the whole lot on Sci fi back in the day, and it turned out as my middle series (Not as good as Nadesico, but way better than Evangelion)

It was pretty good in all, a little oddly paced, and with a bit too much angst for my liking (though not to the Eva level by any means) but it is a rather good post apoclyptic anime, worth a watch at least.

I watched about 5 episodes of the dubbed version(because that's all MVM decided to release on DVD) over here and I thought it was pretty bad. Though that might have been me not being able to get into the dub.

Blue Gender is not the best show out there, but it's a good show. In manages to successfully combine some decent action and the angst, without overdoing either element. Ultimately though the ending is a little wierd, and I'm not sure it really works, although it fits within the context of the show. I don't really like the first few episodes either, but it improved considerably from their, with the episodes dealing with the journey to the space station being the high point of the series. I enjoyed the rest of the series, but given the emotional comment of the show and what happens, there are people who might not.

Was watching it, loved the beginning but as it has been said I kind of lost interest in it late into the middle of the series. Reminded me a lot of Starship troopers.
