Blood+ price error

Well they have about 2 months till release so they will probably spot it.

Anyway does anyone have any info as to what difference there may be buying the individual DVDs against the box set released at the same time as the first volume, as it seems an odd way of releasing it to me.

I'm not sure what kind of a question that is. I guess you mean what form the two releases will take, and as for that no one knows yet. I'll link some cover art as soon as I find it though.

I have looked around the places I normally get stuff but can't find any product images. So I am wondering if there is going to be any differences in the final product.

To me it seems an odd way of releasing it as with most series it is a few months after it has finished that any box set is released. So I think what I really am asking is, if at the end of the day you end up with the same thing is it worth me spending up front for the box set or should I wait and buy the indivdual DVDs taking however long just in case they do some special editions with figures or other incetives.

Ah I see.

I would highly doubt any kind of special editions from Sony. The boxset is the special edition I would guess. The limited edition for volume 1 would have been solicited if it were otherwise. Although, we are talking about Sony here, so anything could happen.
The release in general seems different from the Japanese release though, unless the boxset is a physical box and not a digipak kind of thing, which is what I'm expecting.

Anyway, enough speculation, all will be revealed soon enough I should think.

I am sort of just hoping there is no difference, just that you get rewarded by getting the whole series early if you are willing to stump up the cash in one go. May be Sony have realised there are people willing to pay what ever for the box set when ever and then there are the people that just like to browse and pick up the odd disc now and again. Although that leads to a question about the availability of the box set and any possible box set in the future.

I think I am going to buy the box set, damn thats another thing on my list for March.

I have just noticed that Otaku.co.uk have listed vol.1 AND the box set containing the whole first season for 15.99 on their website! I have ordered myself a copy, it will be interesting to see if its cancelled though!

Whoops! Should be £76.99. The RRP for the box is similar to the cost of the individual DVDs, so it's not the usual bargin set.

Haha. Owned.

I've never found a need for the Otaku, People seem to mention it a fair bit. I suppose I might find a need for it one day.. For now though, I'm good with Amazon, UP1 and Play for all my general needs.

I would guess that the hold up was because they wanted to do a promotion with Dark Horse - hence the 'manga profiler'.

EDIT: Credit to the usual people on AnimeOnDVD of course.
