Bleach for the Wii and DS coming to the UK.

Suprising this got a release here since no channel has picked up the series yet.

Not unless someone is picking it up soon.
 
Got any sources, i couldn't find it listed on Play.com. If this is really slated for the UK then i am shocked, Takes place in the Soul Society arc i think. . .possibly later, and i don't see DVD releases getting there this quickly.

Ah well, i'm still purchasing, and this should be the Gamer's Paradise sub forum

Based on the hit animated series, Bleach(tm) offers relentless action and dazzling swordplay with crisp, highly-stylized graphics that deliver an authentic anime experience. The games feature a robust cast of characters voiced by the actors from VIZ Media's award-winning BLEACH anime. The TV show is currently featured in the U.S. on the Cartoon Network's, Adult Swim. With a dynamic cast of over two dozen characters in the games including Rukia, Kon and hero Ichigo, gamers can spend hours furiously fighting while unlocking individual character stories, all based on the animated series' story arc.

The Bleach storyline follows fifteen-year-old Ichigo Kurosaki who is able to see spirits, including warriors from the afterlife known as "Soul Reapers". The Soul Reapers are tasked with defending humans from otherworldly beings called "Hollows". One fateful day, Ichigo meets Rukia, a Soul Reaper who lends him her powers after she is injured by a Hollow. In the game, players progress through an exciting storyline facing increasingly difficult opponents in their quest to uncover the truth.

That sounds quite promising, although it doesn't mean it will be released in all of the EU. :( .

Saying that, i hope it is released because i throughly like the Bleach: HTS series' even though they are quick to play though. I suspect this Wii game to be no different.

-Hope it comes with a language option like the Naruto games

Did you read the link I gave you it has been confirmed for the EU. Early 2008, maybe it's going air on the forthcoming animax channel?
 
Awesome news :). We seriously lack when it comes to anime based video games and i'm a huge Bleach fan. And if we're getting the games hopefully it might act as an incentive for some company to pick up the DVDs.

Out with the Dragonball Z games and in with Naruto and Bleach games. Now we just need Sony to bring them here.

And Animax don't own the rights to Bleach, only Naruto
 
Figures Sega, the same company that was silly enough to cross Hedgehogs with guns, that would release something with no market basis.

At least it's stupidity that gets us something good, unlike shadow.
 
When are the DVDs getting released here anyway? I'm surprised no-one's picked up the rights yet, considering its popularity.

I swear we recently discussed this. Ah well the outcome of that discussion was nobody knew and that’s still the case.
 
This is good and all but lets face it this for America. If they were to come out here it would only happen if Bleach came on TV. Still easy access to an English language version of the DS games sounds great!
 
There going to localise the game in English for the Americans and not bother releasing it in the UK, I highly doubt it.

It's more likely it will come out in the UK and not certain parts in Europe it happens. Final Fantasy VI for the PS1 was only released in the UK.

But please I'm sorry for being a bit snappy but please read the press release it has been CONFIRMED for the UK.

All i get from that release is "Bleach: Shattered Blade for Wii and Bleach: The Blade of Fate on DS will be released across Europe in early 2008."

...unless I'm totally overlooking it I can't find any mention of this supposed confirmed UK release.

One Piece Grand Adventure got an EU release, but did anyone actually see it for sale anywhere in the UK?
 
Yes they rent to OP game at my local blockbuster. For the last time this game will get a UK release. Go to your local G-Force or to the lesser extent Gamestation these games have been released in the UK.
