My dog, Princess, a Westie, has recently started to guard a teddy of hers. She wont leave it and goes for anyone (well, she bites me anyway, but whatever - I'm a bully) who tries to remove it from her.
Is it normal for white rats to confuse small teddies with wings on for puppies, and do think she'd calm down if she was allowed to breed more white rats? I think, being as daft as she is, she'd stay over-protective and kill her own pups if she was allowed to breed. She's a bit dumb like that, y'see.
I mean, it's funny seeing her hiding with it behind the back of the sofa and looking around the corner but you have to question her sanity. I wonder if she was dropped on her head as a pup, and if hitting her hard on the head again would remedy this issue? 'Tis troubling...
