The Bionic Woman, soon to be starting shooting with NBC in America have cast the lead role and its a Brit who will be playing the part. Former Eastenders actress Michelle Ryan.

David Eick has found his Jamie Sommers in a rather surprising place - namely the market stalls of Walford. The technically enhanced lead in his Bionic Woman update will be played by Brit actress Michelle Ryan, best known for the five years she spent as Zoe Slater on EastEnders

hmmm well at least they chose someone who has already had some experience of surgical enhancement
