bigger size kb on Avatar?

hi now that the site has more BW is there any chance of the Avatar kb size being made a littel higher as it is really hard to make a Avatar under 17kb.

But i agree, there are many avatars i would love but all their file sizes are too big

i must agree with valha and charter here...i wouldn't mind the avatar being a bit bigger than 17kb...but i at the moment i am ok with my avatar.

I wouldn't object though, but 300k is a bit much IMO.

300kb- no chance I'll consider raising the limit to around 25kb this weekend, but just some quick maths:

300kb x 15 (300kb) avatars = 4.5mb
4.5mb x 100 unique views = 450mb bandwidth per thread

That's just unrealistic

The limit has just been upped to 25kb, though if it's too much of a strain on the server I'll have to reconsider. Consider this a test run.. enjoy
