Yep , So which is the best Shonen Jump Anime in your opinion...

I got to go with Bleach, it so ultra PWNsome and its the most maturest anime ever... (in my opinion)

I love Shaman King as well, So what you lot think

No Shounen Jump series is mature, they're all Shounen titles, aimed at twelve year olds. >_>

Another Bleach lover, every anime fan loves Bleach the series that is DBZ with swords.

EDIT: Oh, and One Piece is probably the best SJ series, then it'd be Hunter X Hunter.

I haven't watched much on the Shonen Jumps animes, the few episodes that I've seen weren't that good or interesting.

But I get the magazine every month (when I can) and the Mangas that stands out the most are One Piece and Hikaru No Go I also enjoy Yu Yu Hakusho (But it's rather repetitive)

Are they going to serialize Bleach in Shonen Jump in the future, because I've been waiting to get the manga, but I'm not sure about it yet?

Not that I've heard of, they put in the odd chapter once in a while, latest was given out in October '06 issue for a taster when Ichigo was learning Ban-Kai.

I know that it is, powering up all the time and getting stronger to fight a more powerful enemy, and if you're watching the anime get ready in the next few months for Soul Society the 2nd.

I saw a bit of the soul society... Maybe it is, In a DBZ kinda way. But look at it, Ichigo doesn't fight well if he lost lot of blood..

Tell me, did DBZ has Goku fighting unwell when he lost a lot of blood, no, he still fight like he was at full power...

In my opinion I highly rate Bleach but am also loving Gintama at the moment, I finght that bleach has the more well developed characters whereas Gintama has the funnier more playful storylines

Best Shounen Jump? Death Note.
Best of the "typical" Shounen Jump? One Piece. It doesn't take itself as seriously as the others, which just makes it more fun to watch for me. If I wanted a serious series I wouldn't be looking in SJ anyway...

I'd say Claymore is pretty dark.
Although it's Shounen Monthly, I was talking about weekly.

Eh... it's still Shonen Jump. Anyway, those publications don't exist over here.

Yeah, Shoen Weekley and Shoen Monthly are like the Simpsons comics and Spongebob comics, they update themselves from a week to a months.

Shoen jump is a International Company that collects like Bleach Shoen weekley and stuff it in a Paperback book...

Death Note was serialized in (Weekly) Shounen Jump, and I assume most people would consider that mature... Especially since something like Kanon is aimed at old men. Japan is a strange place with subversive, nigh on unclassifiable genres. To come out and say no Shounen Jump anime is "mature" is flat out wrong.

As for my personal favourite Shounen Jump anime - it's a close run thing between One Piece and Naruto. Probably One Piece, since it's perfect in almost every way. Naruto has a great mythology though, and some awesome action scenes. I've never rated Bleach, way too "Hollyoaks" for my liking, and the soundtrack is (still) terrible. D-Gray Man is showing great potential too.

to be honest, i cant find a bad egg in the whole mix of Shonen jump.
Everything i've read or watched under that label has been great
My favourites at the mo though are naruto and bleach.
I've started watchin D. grayman too and im getting hooked

Agreed I don't think there is one I don't like

Whoah, there's bound to be a bad series or two. Surely you haven't read them all =P

Don't get me wrong, I like a few SJ series as light reading. But the creators do steal from each other quite a lot. Too many times I have seen the "Boy gets killed by accident, silent girl revives him and gives him special powers to see/kill/see and kill ghosts/demons/robots."

Probably because the bad ones don't get published very far in SJ weekly in Japan, after what? 20 chapters they get axed.

Oh snap, Paul got me with Death Note, DN is mature. >__<

D.Gray-man's plot is quite complex later in the series, I'm not sure if it's a mature series, but it's quite hard to follow along with all the events and new happenings in the series.
