Barbican Japanimation

The Boss
Been to the Barbican centre for that Japanimation event they are having - one screening per month, with commentaries ...

The one thing that really turned me off was the technical aspects of that cinema... Reminded me of those anime clubs when people would screen fansubbed anime in classrooms and stuf... But, I did love the animes themselves

Seen Tales of Earthsea last month and now I've seen Yugo the negotiator.

Both great animes, the first one not a fantastic one as most Ghibli stuff, the second is simply brilliant.

Anyone here been there? Will be there next month as well?
