Bad news for DBZ fans

A lot of you may already know this, but the DBZ live action film is going to be delayed until next year, April 9th 2009, mainly because there was simply too much competition this year and backed out.

Too much competition? Ain't heard that before, the only films out this year are Harry Potter and X-Files and Bond AFAIK.

I heard it was that they were behind/the writers strike caused issues.

I've heard this as well and its been reported every where like here Judging from that it seems that Fox are worried that it will harm the profits of its over films released that week though one thing comes to mind...Isn't Star Wars the Clone Wars a CGI cartoon TV series? :?

Hopefully this will give them time to make it better then it looks like its going to be

It was recently announced that they'll be releasing a Star Wars: Clone Wars CGI movie this summer before the new CGI cartoon series premieries in the autumn. As for the release dates for the new Star Wars film and the DBZ films clashed, DBZ was postponed until the next suitable release slot.

Elaniel: In terms of major film releases, I think you're forgetting The Dark Knight, Indiana Jones, Prince Caspian and the aforementionned Star Wars film. Other franchises getting new films this summer are Hellboy, Hulk and The Mummy. Speed Racer Wall E and Iron Man should also do well too.

Okay, granted I forgot Batman, but the others I haven't even heard of coming out, or the ones I have didn't know it was in 2008!! That shows how much I'm paying attention to live action at the moment!!
