Seeing as I'm a complete idiot and I didn't get the remastered boxset that came out like 2 years ago, I have been forced to hunt around for a boxset, I found that there are plenty of boxsets titled "The Perfect Sessions", at first I was dubious since most of them use generic stock photos from Google, but then I came across this:

[removed as it's now known to be a bootleg]

It's The Perfect Sessions, but someone decided to take an actual photo of the afformentioned item, so it's existence seems plausible, but the price concerns me, is it too good to be true or have I really found a bargain here?

If you feel any suspicion at all, it's usually a boot :(

Look for the official Bandai/Beez versions if you want to be sure.

The Cowboy Bebop Best Sessions were released in 2002 in the US. This was a compilation of just 6 episodes from the series, three fan favourites, and three director's picks. It was the first chance to hear the episodes with 5.1 soundtracks, before the Remix Collection was created.

The Perfect Collection was the first boxset of the series released in the US, with the 2.0 soundtracks back in 2001.

Bootleggers are mixing up titles to mess with your head!

Thanks for the advice guys, Sadly I don't have a R1 compatible DVD player or a region free one and I don't feel like messing with my current one, so importing is out of the question for me, I'll just wait for them to reissue it

Just buy a switchable player, the saving you make on importing one/two titles is enough to pay off the cost.

"Messing with" your DVD player to make it region free usually entails no more than tapping a code into your remote, if that makes any difference to you.

Shame I have no idea what the hell my DVD player is, other than the fact it's a Sanyo, had it longer than I can remember

you should be able to find a model number but failing that you can just play region 1's on your pc via VLC player, it's free.

Also remember when it comes to bootlegs, look out for the following, whole series crammed onto 3 discs, chinese and english subs and if it looks to good to be true it usually is,and regarding the region free thing, yeah most players are region free these days either straight out the box or with the little help of just simply punching in a code on the remote(which are easy to find with a good search on google),and before i got my multi region dvd player i watched region 1 dvds on my pc using either VCL player or KMPlayer which is highly recommended.

Cowboy Bebop? Andrew said Beez are probably doing an Anime Legends release.
he also said it should have been reprinted, neither has yet happened and untill they do import is the only option of getting the seies legaly

No, he said the reprinting has been held off because of the Anime Legends boxset.

If it's getting an Anime Legends release I'll just wait for that instead, I'm quite skint at the moment anyway, I'll keep in mind the region free stuff though
