Anyway here's a few good, well.. not all good.. here's a few freeware games I've played

I Wanna Be The Guy (I like to call it the digital equivilent of cutting yourself and torturing your very soul, I dare you to play this, no, I double dare you :twisted: )
N Game
Warrock (Can be laggy, best to just pay out around £10 for Team Fortress 2)

Mario Forever

There are plenty of both free and open source games. As per usual wikipedia is a great source for listings of them.

Many of these are clones of older cult classics but there are some new and inventive games in there too.

I'm currently addicted to an ipod touch freeware game called aurora feint. It's your usual block game with a RPG element twist. Addictive, very addictive.
