Another Independent Short Film

Kengo Takeuchi (of the FF-movie) has made a 34 (?) minutes CG 3D short film called Yonna in the Solitary Fortress. The film is to be released on R2J DVD in April and you can find a trailer HERE. The company releasing it is the same company that released Makoto Shinkai's films, why I hope it offers more than eye-candy. No English subtitles.

Looks interesting, though I'm yet to be convinced by this style of animation- too much like a computer game. I hope this conveys a better story than Advent Children but yeah, I recognised the "CoMiX Wave" logo from the Shinkai movies, and they don't tend to pick duds.
