This Saturday, the SHAFT animated adaptation of Naoshi Komi's <em>Nisekoi</em> romantic comedy Shonen Jump manga will begin broadcasting. The series focuses on Raku Ichijo, the the son of a Yakuza family leader who is forced to pretend to be in a relationship with Chitoge Kirisaki, the daughter of a rival Mafia syndicate in order to avoid a gang war - there are two problems though: The first being that Raku carries a pendant from a girl he made a promise to ten years ago and the other is, Raku and Chitoge hate each other's guts!
In the lead up to the release, North American licensor AniplexUSA have released an official trailer for the Akiyuki Shinbo (<em>Puella Magi Madoka Magica</em>, <em>Bakemonogatari</em>) directed series:
