Anime:

Full Metal Alchemist: Complete Series

Above image: Boxset part 1

Two slim box sets (parts 1 & 2)
Each box set has 3 cds each
Region: All Regions
Audio: English and Chinese
Subtitles: English

Note: Nothing wrong with the cds, I have only had them since May from new myself. Have become such an FMA fan that I want to splash out and get the individual volumes, though these are great for saving shelf space when all you want are the episodes!

Price: Will consider offers & £5 postage

sounds very bootleg to me, i ony found 1 thing evenly remotly close to it on the net, and that included the movie

There are several copies on ebay from other sellers - the blurb on the back is in english and chinese. All the details and packaging gives me no indication of a bootleg, there is even barcodes etc. I can take pictures of this item to show people - but what would be the sure sign it was a bootleg?

Sorry, but every one of those things makes it sound like a fake. 51 episodes on 6 discs? Japanese DVDs are famous for being very expensive with very few episodes a disc. No licensed anime is region free. And the fact it has a Chinese dub and not a Japanese shows that it's probably from China... home of bootlegs.

also funi has only just started releasing box sets for FMA and they're season by season, why bothing doing that, not to mention i see no funi logo on the box at all

Well am glad you guys flagged it up - I totally didn't realise or knew that bootlegs could be so smartly done. Hope no one thinks I was trying to flog bootlegged stuff! I do not support that at all. Shall take it off the list. Seems this is a lesson learned the hard way! With so many copies of the box sets being for sale on eBay I just didn't think to check they would be bootlegs and this was before I knew much about anime and online forums/advice.

don't worry bout it, took chaz 3 years to realise his .hack boxset was a bootleg, there is 1 company that seems to be activly selling this boxset, so i assume they're selling it on ebay too

You forgot about the Ikki Tousen series... Bootleg and all, the sneaky b-stards. But it's a much more beautiful box compared to the official boxset.
What can I say, I was naive and optimistic.

Most of CPMs early releases in America are region-free, UK firm kiseki has mostly region-free titles.

I'm quite sure that that FMA boxset is a bootleg though.

I got a Love Hina Boxset like that from Hong Kong on Ebay. I knew it wasn't properly licensed but I had all the Manga and wanted to see what the anime was like. I wasn't impressed but it was a low price.

Had no extras except two special seasonal episodes but they crammed more eps onto the 3 disks in it's neat little case.
