I originally saw this Anime movie on Manga Video back in 1995 with a very good English Dubbed version. I must say that this is one of my all time favourite Anime movies and the only anime movie that I strongly feel that should be made in a Hollywood Live Action movie.
The character designs and animation for its day are very good, an outstanding soundtrack and one of the best and most moving storylines ever.
The story is about a wind that has swept the Earth taking all the memories from everyone. No one knows who they are, how to speak, or how to use the tools of modern civilization. Two years later a young man who has been re-educated travels across America on a mysterious journey to re-educate the world and also find the truth as to how and why the event happened whilst being pursued by a Robot Killing Machine.
A very moving and highly recommended Anime Classic.
