Anime cinema screenings in Edinburgh

Martin

Death Scythe
I'm not dead, I just moved house. Anyway, there are anime screenings for three anime films in Edinburgh over the next few weeks: full list. As much as Patlabor interests me, it might clash with the Leeds event...there's a Shinkai double bill the week after though. iirc it's the first UK screening of 5cm? Cheers to UK-A for the heads-up. :)

looks tempting, very tempting. I may head out and catch a couple of these films. Right next to the castle as well so easy access.

Also, shouldnt this be in the news section Martin?

Yeah, but I don't know if regular forum members are able to start threads there (we couldn't last time I checked). Paul or melonpan should be able to if it's newsworthy enough, or maybe move this thread over. Whichever's easier really.

BTW, 5cm is well worth the trip. There's no UK DVD release as yet, but it's a stunning film.

Ah, got you now. I thought you were able to make threads there.

The prices are reasonable aswell. £4 for an adult £2.50 for a concession, bare in mind that the odeon is £6.50 for an adult alone.
