For a while now, Sony have been running the anime streaming service Animax, which lets anime fans in the United Kingdom enjoy legal streaming of both new and catalogue anime titles, including Bleach, Mardock Scramble and Terror in Resonance. For a while now, the Animax service has been able to be viewed on PCs via their website, as well as an application on the PlayStation 3 console.
Today, Animax have announced that the service is now available on Sony's latest console, the PlayStation 4 and a beta version of the application can now be downloaded from the PlayStation Store for free (although a monthly premium membership is needed to view the majority of Animax's catalogue).
Do you own a PlayStation 4? If so, will you be using it to watch Animax?
