Almost relationships (another rant)

Is anyone else sick of "almost relationships" in anime?

Example: Elfen Lied. Yuka and Kota make out. Afterwards they act like it never happened.

May I suggest adding the word SPOILERS to the title of your post. I haven't seen Elfen Lied, and I'm sure many others haven't and don't want to know this information. Glad I just glanced at it and didn't take it in :/
 
relationships are over rated! for the last year ive mastered the art of the "almost relationship" more commonly reffered **** buddies :D

i want more in anime!

...although i did really wanna see shinji and asuka hook up... or shinji and kaoru, either way :eek:
