Hi, just a quick note to introduce myself..
I'm a 30-year-old slacker with a penchant for anime, probably stemming from my love of Japanese films and whatnot..
I first came across anime in 93 when Channel 4 screened Akira with the subtitles (as far as I mind..) and that was when something like that was a major event.. Other things tended to interest me more at that point though and it wasn't until recently that I started to get back into anime and particularly the darker, more challenging stuff like Texhnoylze, Lain, Paranoia Agent and the like..
Anyways, I'm here to spout nonsense and generally bug you lot for ideas of what to watch next!
