ADV UK anime releases for the final quarter of 2008

ADV Films and LDMS have sent out a press release detailing their UK DVD release schedule for the final quarter of 2008, which has been hit by the <a href="http://www.animeuknews.net/news/1717/adv-cancel-several-more-anime-releases-in-the-uk">recently announced cancellations</a>. This new schedule is as follows:
<ul>
<li>June 16th - NOIR Complete Collection</li>
<li>June 23rd - Paniponi Dash Volume 6</li>
<li>July 14th - Guyver: The Bioboosted Armor Volume 7</li>
<li>July 14th - Utawarerumono Volume 6</li>
<li>July 21st - Guyver: The Bioboosted Armor Complete Collection</li>
<li>July 28th - MADLAX Complete Collection</li>
<li>August 25th - This Ugly Yet Beautiful World Complete Collection</li>
<li>August 25th - Yugo The Negotiator Complete Collection</li>
<li>September 8th - E&rsquo;s Otherwise Complete Collection</li>
<li>September 22nd - RahXephon Complete Collection (contains TV series and Movie)</li>
</ul>
Their autumn and winter releases are scheduled to include:
<ul>
<li>Samurai Gun Complete Collection</li>
<li>Najica Blitz Tactics Complete Collection</li>
<li>Neon Genesis Evangelion Ultimate Limited Edition</li>
<li>Peacemaker Complete Collection</li>
<li>Gilgamesh Complete Collection</li>
<li>Kino&rsquo;s Journey Complete Collection</li>
</ul>
 
Lots of collections, then! Kino’s Journey is the one I'm most likely to pick-up...

HUH, NO WAI?!

I want to see PaniPoni Dash. It looks oddly appealing, I might get all six volumes of that, if I can get it at a reasonable price.
 
If RahXephon actually does get released, i'll try and grab that if I can afford it. I aint gonna bother putting money aside for it though, as who knows if it'll actually happen at this point...
 
Virtually only collections. :/
As I've been checking the release dates lately, I've noticed that ADV has been changing their mind a lot ... I just hope that they keep these release plan to end.

An Evangelion 'Ultimate Limited Edition'? Is that Ultimate as in 'finally not in a tin and perhaps even affordable'? Or will I be putting this one on my wishlist until it gets itself untimely deleted again?

RRP for Noir and RahXephon boxsets is £59.99, so it'll probably be around that mark.

ADV lost the Gurren Lagann licence months back. Bandai Ent is responsible for its distribution in the US and it will probably fall to BEEZ when it comes over here.
 
Still no word if any of the ex ADV titles will be realeased over here under revalation films...funi have just realeased dates for the american realease of devil may cry and kanon volume 5 (or was it 6?)

Maybe but with Revelation's current scheduling we would likely not see them until 2010 if at all. You have to consider that Red Garden and Kurau were not selling too well (hence the proposed boxed set finish) so they at least may never get finished over here.
